Over the last 20 years, I have been working in education as Head of Sports, Head of PSHE, Head of Year and since 2018, I have been working as a senior leader in special needs schools. During this time, I have had the privilege of witnessing so many of our students develop and grow, accessing opportunities and the support they need to be successful as they progress onto future education provision and adult life.

Sport 2 Aspire provides a safe and supportive learning environment which enables students to re-engage with education through the power of sports. I believe that working closely with parents and carers is essential in supporting the students and building our community, and encourage students, families and support networks to engage fully with school life and support us in this journey. Sport 2 Aspire is crucial in providing and supporting students who face challenges in accessing mainstream schooling. Sport emerges as a powerful tool that can be used to engage, empower, and inspire young people.
